sometimes I get really tired and I can’t hear anything but my own pounding heart and god, it terrifies me because you let me know you’re there through soft sighs and pings of messages reminding me that it’s okay to smile after everything and my pounding heart does none of that. it pumps blood through my veins but you pump stars into them and I love the stars so much more than I do breathing.
